CHOCOLATE OREO BALLS RECIPE

This fusion recipe made with Oreo biscuits is an ideal sweet or dessert recipe to be served on any occasion. These balls are coated with melted dark chocolate which adds the chocolaty flavour to this delicate and tasty recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Pieces Oreo Biscuit
  • 2 Tbsp. Powder Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp.Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Milk
  • 5 Dairy Milk Chocolate
  • 1 Tsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Hot Milk
  • Some Sprinkle and Coconut Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Firstly, seperate cream from 12 oreo biscuits
  2. Add biscuits along with 2 Tbsp sugar and 1 Tbsp  butter and blend to crumbly texture in mixi.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and add 2 Tbsp of milk
  4. Mix well making a moist dough.
  5. Now prepare small ball sized ladoo.
  6. Freeze the ladoo for 15 minutes or until its well set.
  7. In another bowl break Dairy milk into pieces, add 1 tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp hot milk
  8. after freezing for 15 minutes, remove it and insert sickles
  9. now coat the balls with melted chocolate
  10. Garnish it with sprinkles and coconut powder
  11.  Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy the treat

Some quick tips

  1. You can use any biscuits for this recipe. If the biscuits do not have a chocolate filling,  you can add chocolate pieces to it.
  2. If you end up with a moist biscuit mixture, deep freeze it before shaping it to ladoos.
  3. Dipping balls in chocolate sauce is optional. You can choose a different flavour or skip it.
  4. If refrigerated these can be used for a week
