This easy to make icecreamis very popular in India. It does not take much preparation time and is full of nutrition as it has dryfruits and milk as primary ingredients.


  • 1 Kg Milk
  • 1/2 Milk Powder
  • 2/3 Cup Sugar
  • 4 Bread Crumb
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Cream
  • 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Essence
  • 8 Pieces Almond, Pistachio, Cashew


  1. In a bowl mix half cup of milk powder with 1\2kg milk
  2. Boil the remaining milk in a pan
  3. When boiled add the milk powder mixture to it
  4. Add bread crumbs and cook on medium to low flame till the milk thickens
  5. Then add sugar and stir it for 6-7 mnts on medium flame
  6. Pour fresh cream into the mixture and add dry fruits and and stir until a thick mixture forms. rabdi is ready
  7. Turn of the stove and put few drops of vanilla essence
  8. Once the rabdi is cold,  fill the ice cream mould with some dryfruit and Pour rabdi in it and add sticks to it
  9. Freeze it overnight. Demould it and serve.

Some quick tips

  1. Firstly, always use heavy bottomed pan or nonstick pan to prepare this recipe.
  2.  Keep stirring occasionally while the milk is boiling also do not over stir it.
  3. You can add any fruit pulp like grape or mango to prepare AngoorRabdi and Mango Rabri recipe. Add the fruit flavour at the last step just before switching it off.
  4. After demoulding, you canalso dip it into melted chocolate and keep it in freezer for 1 hour.
