Baked Veg Cheese Pasta

This easy baked pasta is loaded with vegetables and cheese that makes it simply irresistible. A famous dish in Europe, it has made its credible space in Indian households as well. Kids love it and new generation adores it.


  • 1 cup Pasta
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 4 tsp pizza sauce
  • 150 g cheese
  • Few Black Olives
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp Maida
  • 1.5 cup Milk
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp grated cheese
  • Salt ( as per taste )
  • A little of all vegetables below (chopped)
    • Red Capsicum
    • Yellow or Green capsicum
    • Onion
    • Grated ginger
    • Garlic
    • Sweet Corn

Preparation of Pasta:

  • Take some water in a pan
  • Add 1 tsp salt in it
  • Add 1 cup pasta
  • Boil it on high flame
  • Once it starts to boil, cook it on high flame for 10-12 mins
  • Make sure that Pasta is semi-cooked. Pour some cold water so that Pasta does not stick to each other

Preparation of White Sauce:

  • Add 2 tsp butter in a pan and heat it
  • Once it melts, add 2 tsp Maida, and mix it well
  • Add some milk in small quantities to make sure lumps are not formed
  • Keep stirring until you get a consistent sauce
  • Add ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • Add 2 tsp grated cheese and mix it well
  • Add salt to taste on low flame
  • WHITE SAUCE is ready

Preparation of Vegetables:

  • Add 2 tsp of oil in a pan and heat it
  • Add chopped ginger garlic pieces and stir it
  • Add chopped onion. Stir it well till the onion turns soft
  • Add all the vegetables
  • Add salt to taste
  • Add 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  • Add ½ tsp chilly flakes and mixed herbs (as available)
  • Mix it well and cook for 1 minute on medium flame

Preparation for baking:

  • Prepare your baking tray by adding 4 tsp of Pizza sauce
  • Spread it evenly over the tray’s surface
  • Spread the cooked vegetables evenly
  • Spread the white sauce again evenly over the vegetables
  • Now spread the semi-cooked pasta evenly and put grated cheese as the last layer
  • At the end, spread the finely cut black olives
  • NOW, the pasta is ready to be baked
  • Take a pan and put a stand in it
  • Put the baking tray on the stand
  • Bake it for 30-35 mins on medium to low flame
  • You PASTA is ready to be served!
